Stayed 2 nights for work and will definitely return. The hotel has just been refurbished, so the rooms and facilities are excellent. The staff were great, very friendly, courteous, and attentive. The location is also very good. It's on a quiet street and many attractions ate in walking distance.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Rooms comfortable and clean with tea and coffee provided. Decor a little tired but there seemed to be some refurbishment going on. Breakfast was good and although there wasn't a huge choice of drinks, the bar was comfortable and a nice place to sit.

We booked a stay at the Wellington but were moved with no notice to the Rochester. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed in this stay. The day we arrived, we dropped off our luggage around 9am and went off to enjoy our day. We waited to receive a message that our room was ready, but by 5pm, we still had not heard anything. We returned to the hotel to find out our intended room was having maintenance issues, and we were being moved to their sister hotel, the Rochester. Why they waited until past 5 in the evening to notify us is beyond me. I was disappointed for a few reasons. One being that the Wellington is consistently more expensive to book than the Rochester. So, we were paying Wellington prices just to stay at their cheaper hotel. I had to drag my suitcase down the road to the Rochester myself. Our room was fine, although the bathroom design is horrific. Only half of the shower is glassed in resulting in water ending up all over the bathroom floor every time we showered. The front desk staff promised us free breakfast to apologize for the inconvenience of being moved. However, when we went to redeem it, we were told we were not on the list of guests who get free breakfast. Sadly, I have to assume that both of these hotels are unreliable and would warn people away from them. They can’t guarantee you the room you paid for and don’t follow through on their promises. Look elsewhere, we certainly will in the future.
