The Princess Royal, Exclusive Hire

Had dinner at Fullers pub with my friends, Roni and Steve, for drinks and dinner, eve of their wedding. Staff was friendly. We had wine and gin and tonics. Nachos was nice for English palates (I’m from California, so I’m used to spicy guacamole). But it was very edible. Roni had the ribs eye steak special, Steve had the sausages and peas. I had a wonderful plate of lamb’s liver, pan fried with salt and pepper with a little sauce pan-full of delicious gravy. I devoured the whole thing. Banoffee cheese cake and lemon posset were excellent and shared for dessert. The only miss was the chocolate cake. It was a bit stodgy. The coconut ice cream was good. Staff were attentive and very friendly! Great pub food.

Popped in for a quick Sunday drink ended up staying longer and eating..we hadn't booked we had a few sips then all thought something smells good in here 😅 asked if we could possibly order food and was told yes no problem we were given menu and it was lovely not to feel like we should have booked in advance,it is a lovely pub, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff good choice of drinks and food definitely recommend
