December 2023Lively pub divided into several sections. Nice snug area, friendly staff, well- kept ales such as Fullers London Pride and HSB, well decorated, spacious, family and dog friendly. Garden has several "rooms". Pleasant ladies loo, plenty of live music and activities. As a local I haven't stayed and cannot comment on the rooms/accommodation.

January 2024Room was a nice big size, big bed although there was a random single bed in the corner of the room, was very cold in the room you had to stay in the bed sheets to keep warm, and then you got to hot so you couldn't win, was very noisy at night being so close to the train station, on my arrival I very much felt like an inconvenience as I saw one of the staff members moaning they had to find me on their systems, the shower was lovely but again the rest of the room was very cold
