Great ambiance, mediocre service and food. We walked in Polpo after a long day of walking around the city. The interior and menu looked great so we took a small table inside. Our server recommended getting two plates each to share them all. She also said they would come out whenever they were ready, instead of all at once. We ordered the risotto balls--these were fried and cheesy inside but very small! We then got the beef meatballs in sauce. These were about four meatballs in a red sauce. They were tasty but not outstanding. We then got the broccoli with hazelnuts. The broccoli was a bit under-cooked and didn't have enough flavor. The service at this restaurant was a bit confusing. It seems the servers help all the tables, instead of being assigned specific parties. We asked four servers for our check and kept waiting for it to arrive! It was very odd and we couldn't understand why this took so long after so many people asked us if we wanted anything else. I would say the price and ambiance here doesn't match the quality and service. Very underwhelming.GOOGLE REVIEW

Have visited their Bristol branch a few times before it closed recently but this was my first time to their restaurant in Soho. We had a wonderful lunch of many dishes and wine and helped along by a lovely bright waitress from the Isle of Man, we stayed for quite a while. I can't speak highly enough of the food, it is all superb. Great concept. Never disappoints.GOOGLE REVIEW

This establishments food is a kind of modern take on Tapas. The dishes offered are quite varied. The stuffed fried olives were lovely and very different. The meatballs are also to die for. The staff are helpful however we waited ages for one of our plates. As it was steak maybe that is why. However since my potato salad had been served already. I ended up waiting a good while to eat. This is definitely a good dining experience and quite affordable.GOOGLE REVIEW

I ate here for a work do. Having said that, the small plates set menu was something like 12 to 14 dishes for £28 not including drinks which I thought for a central London restaurant was good value for money. The main menu is also well priced. I can recommend the meatballs with spaghetti, the sauce is really nice. Water is on the tables and topped up regularly. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because we had some dishes on the set menu I wasn't very keen on. That was just me though the restaurant was nice, waiting staff were attentive and very polite. Would recommend and go back againGOOGLE REVIEW

This restaurant is on Beak Street. It’s a very decent place with good selections and small plate items of interest to try. Not sure if they accept bookings - we were walk-ins and managed to get a table easily. The staff are friendly and easily approachable. Getting to Soho is easy from just about anywhere in London via the trains.GOOGLE REVIEW
