They style themselves as a destination for coworkers...they really aren't. Coworks have space, ample power sockets, and good coffee, and Timber Yard has only one of those. The place was packed, shoulder to shoulder, upstairs and down. They make a pretty good cafe (good coffee, tasty treats), so they might think about changing their business model to downplay coworking and highlight their qualities as a cafe. That said, the egg salad sandwich I had was fresh and the pourover was well made, bright and fruity. If it's not jam-packed with laptop jockies I'd feel better recommending this cafe.

Really good coffee. Wifi is 5mbps download and 5mbps upload with 4ms ping. Fairly comfortable to be working on a computer while sipping on an amazing cup of coffee!

Great little place to go read and relax. Good tasting food and even better tasting sweet treats.

Seven Dials has many good coffee spots, and TY is definitely up there as one of the top ones. It's also a cafe that you can work at - they don't mind people spending all day on their laptops at their cafe, or using it as a meeting space. Because there aren't many places like this around, the cafe is always packed, so you may need to wait before you find a seat!

An ideal place if you come to sit and read or work on your laptop, but almost always full. I came with my friend thinking to have a coffee and talk, but both floors were full of people on laptops, so I got the sense that it's more a cafe for working than for chatting. We did manage to find adjacent seats on the couches downstairs. The leek & potato soup was good, but the flat white had a sour aftertaste, which I didn't like. The tea came with a timer to tell you when to stop steeping it, which was a nice touch.
