Food at 52 offers an ideal venue for product launches and cookery based events. With a warm and homely style our interior creates a relaxed feel to a kitchen based theme. Overall this creates a bohemian and artistic space rather than the usual more formal and starchy classroom environment of cooking schools.

We are willing to hire out our space for chefs to run their own cookery class or demos. There will be a Food at 52 contact on-site during your event and we can arrange a Kitchen Porter for you at an additional cost. Please enquire for rates and availability.

Attended the full day fish & seafood course. As an enthusiastic but amateur cook was keen to master fish filleting and feel more confident overall with preparing & cooking seafood. I also wanted to have fun! From the outset the course at Foodat52 more than fulfilled that brief. Jean-Marc and Tom were passionate and extremely knowledgeable about all things fish & seafood. They were able to provide information and guidance on buying the right kind of fish/seafood, fish/seafood anatomy, and were patient and understanding when letting each of us loose with fillet knife! The hospitality was excellent, the course ran smoothly from start to finish and the ingredients and wine delicious! I left the day armed with more cookery skills and recipes to try than I could have anticipated! A very enjoyable day, looking forward to trying another course for sure! Thank you team.

Had great experience on the Moroccan cooking half day. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. We made 4 delicious dishes, I was really impressed with the chicken pastilla, and now have some new ideas to incorporate into my cooking.

My friends and I had such a lovely experience at Food at 52 learning about Indian Street Food and I highly recommend to all. As someone who isn’t well versed in cooking I found my evening extremely enjoyable and informative. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with incredible hosts who guided us through a wonderful cooking experience! My highlight of the evening was the delightful environment the staff provided with smiles, lightness and warmth all around! Such a fabulous team that anyone and everyone would have the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for having us! Ps. The food was absolutely delicious!! An easy 5 stars ✨

Super fun team building exercise for work… Jean-Marc was great, the folks helping us too (Jordan & Marcia). We made tasty pastel de nata, which I had for breakfast the day after and a savoury trout + asparagus tartlet….. so flavourful! Fun, light atmosphere, safe & engaging. Thank you!

I attended the French cooking class on a Monday night with my husband and daughter. We all absolutely loved it! The level of cooking expertise and instruction from Jean-Marc and owner Emily was excellent and there was a lovely relaxed and convivial atmosphere throughout the evening. Wine was plentiful, as was the chat with other guests! The staff were super friendly and efficient and the decor of the kitchen was cosy and aesthetically beautiful. Sitting down to eat the delicious food we’d made - which included some fun flambé action - was the icing on the cake! Can’t recommend this class highly enough.
