I found this Museum during a previous trip to Leeds while using an all day bus ticket which I paid for when I booked my train ticket. It cost me £4 which I found very good value for money and I recommend that you consider this. This Museum has no dedicated car park with a small exception. There are 3 or 4 disabled parking spaces outside the front door of the Museum but you Must book these with the Museum in advance of your visit. There is a Pay and Display car park close by but I don't know the changes 😕. The Museum is open daily from 10am until 5pm and it's Free 😊. Children will love this Museum as there is so much aimed directly at young people. A lot of hands on activities for all ages and numerous displays during the year. (Check out their website for full details ) Very good disabled access through out the museum and staff very willing to help in any way. Good catering facilities with views over the canal and reasonably priced. A very good day out for all the family in my opinion.

Really nice place to spend day off. Multi-storey parking is really close. You have to pay for it - 9 GBP for whole day, but you could leave your car there and explore the city center as well. The museum is located in old Leeds docks. Nice location next to the river. Museum is free. A lot of things to see and if you like history or if you like arms this is the place to spend your time .They also have possibility to try crossbow shooting and other activities. All in all - highly recommend.

A superb museum ideal for all. We spent 3 enjoyable hours walking around this massive museum full of local and international history relating to arms. My son loved the dioramas, suits of armour and the crossbow shooting! The cafe was also good, as was the shop, where you need to spend some money as entrance is free!

I really liked the museum. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. The items are interesting, and I like how they state if It was a replica or a module. The cafe and gift shop are full of nice things with a reasonable . prices and some pricey ones. I love the diversity of places and armours. There are some from Japan and an intriguing modern weaponry.

Fantastic museum for all ages. Lots of interesting information with talks and displays. Spent several hours there. It has the usual facilities with souvenir shop and cafe. Prices in the cafe were reasonable. Only slight disappointment was that quite a few of the interactive display stations didn't work but otherwise a great place to visit.
