Food was fab and reasonably priced - had a burger which was lush! Drinks were great and again, very reasonably priced! Outdoor seating for summer pints and a cosy inside for those winter visits! Very enjoyable visit - will definately be back!

There for a family reunion and a meal. Service was great and happy to attend to your requests Food well presented and good. Steaks were excellent and great vegetarian options! All in all, nice place

Most food and drink businesses were closed on New Year's Day in Stockbridge. 2 places that were open were supposedly fully booked. The White Heart staff made me very welcome, service was prompt and polite. Scampi light lunch was very nice! Thanks!

Went for a meal on New Year's eve. Sadly very poor standard of food, I had roast loin of pork, the meat was nice no complaints there. Roast potatoes hard and chewy obviously been reheated, roasted carrots and parsnip was OK. Cauliflower cheese was like it had been scraped out bottom of dish, bitty and overcooked bits thrown on plate. Cabbage very undercooked so left it all. Partner had burger, was OK but very basic meal, appreciate burgers can be a bit like that but it did not look appetising. Rather disappointed with quality and paying higher prices for both. Have been to cheaper pubs that served a better meal. Staff in pub were pleasant so no concerns there. I would not recommend the food here

We have stayed there three nights over Christmas. I spent £626 in total for 2 adults, one child and a dog. It was a pretty good size cosy room and the management gave us a small vine with a beautiful card, with some chocolates and cookies for Christmas. I thought it was very sweet of them. It’s an unfortunate that the room was dirty with a lot of dust and spider webs. Although it’s pet- friendly it shouldn’t be that dirty. Second thing, when we went to have our breakfast in the dining room, there was a tall chubby blonde waitress who was not very friendly. As we arrived we sat at a corner table, she moved us immediately the middle table without given any reason why, five minutes later an English couple came and they were sat there by the same lady I felt very uncomfortable as I don’t want to accuse anyone with being racist but it wasn’t nice at all, as she wasn’t friendly with us at the first place. My daughter is American mixed race and I am originally Turkish-American. Thirdly which I think it is terrible I have seen a deduction of £10 from my bank account. I called them directly as I wonder what was happening. The gentleman on the phone had said he will find out of that’s going on and he said he will call me back. He didn’t call back and next day I had to ring them back, he said that, there was a damage on the window that my dog had caused and the £10 was taken for that reason. So, no phone call, no email, no proofs, I don’t know if my dog caused the damage or if the damage was there before my account was deducted. I did not even contact my bank and dispute the £10. I was shocked and disappointed that I wasn’t even informed if my dog who is 12 years old that caused the damage but they have taken money from my account. How unprofessional is that? Lastly, we will not be staying there anymore from the reasons above and I thought to share this therefore other people will be aware of my experience. Regards Yildiz
