Le Bab is a contemporary, gastronomic kebab house. Starting the business in 2014, three friends Stephen Tozer, Edward Brunet and Manu Canales felt that they had something to add to the London kebab scene and so created their own modern type of kebab. Opening their first restaurant in Soho 2015, the trio have since opened restaurants across London; Covent Garden, Brixton, Shoreditch and Battersea Power Station, all beautifully designed by Buchanan Studio.

Our unique spaces can be transformed to suit any occasion, from wedding receptions, group dining, day delegate and corporate events, to late-night parties, unforgettable live music events and beautiful Summer terrace parties.

Minimum spends apply varying on the day of the week and month.

Situated downstairs of Le Bab Covent Garden, The Lounge offers unparalleled versatility to accommodate events of any kind, from intimate dinners to large group dining, drink receptions or late-night parties. This all day venue is truly unique with captivating decor spanning the restaurant making it the perfect space to host Baby Showers, Brand Events, Dry Hires, Corporate events or Birthday parties.

The grand Kebab Queen shutter acts as a stunning backdrop and focus point as you make your way into The Lounge. The surrounding space offers a mixture of seating with fully flexible floor-plans allowing for seamless customisation according to your event requirements.

Entertainment of all kinds is welcome, with space for a; DJ, photo-booth or live music such as drummers, sax players or an acoustic duo. For additional space or a supplementary bar there is an option to hire Kebab Queen, our restaurant on the other side of the shutter.

The food was lovely, the waiter told us it would come a little later due to an event but was very accomodating in giving us free drinks! The wait wasn’t too bad and the service was amazing - always checked in on us.

I found this place through @eatingwithtod on insta. I thought it would be a great place to go with a few friends on a Monday evening. Nice and central for all of us coming from different directions. The booking process was easy. Once we were here the staff were really friendly and welcoming, instantly offering us drinks and giving us menus. We decided to drink cocktails and I have to say I was impressed, they were simple, but tasty and definitely had alcohol in. We ordered the Meze which was actually really good, I’m not usually a fan, I find Hummus boring, but this had real flavour and the bread was incredible. Next we all had a Kebab, after all this is what this place is known for, I had the Dirty Bab, 2 of us had the Chicken Bab and 1 of us had the Paneer Bab, all were fantastic. Once I managed to get enough fries out of mine to pick up, the flavour explosion was definitely the best Kebab I’d ever had, or at least my mouth was telling me that. So after several drinks, starter and Main the final bill was around £50 each which I think for a decent night out in London was fab. It was quite quiet as it was a Monday, but I think that made it better, we were able to arrive at 6.30 and stay until 9.30 so we had a proper catch up. Defo going back…

This is my second time at this restaurant, and I’m really satisfied. They have the best kebabs, and the place is truly awesome. The chicken is also a good option. They have outdoor seating as well. I recommend making reservations. Make sure to sign up to their App and collect points.
