Great atmosphere this season 2018/19. The tour is well worth doing.

Clean and easy accessible, as you walk over through town you can see the stadium and its sign posted for anyone on a match day if the parking gets full. Hospitality in the stadium delivers a nice meal and great seating. There is a club shop near the players entrance which always has a sale on and the workers are friendly plus they never nag or pester you.

Clean, tidy football ground. Stewards are a bit keen but the Police outside are friendly enough. Easy to get to

Love this place. Great to have a brick especially for those who have passed away. Somewhere to remember them. Shop well stocked and good parking on non match days. A place of "pilgrimage" on match days!!

I work here for five days a year, as part of the live music entertainment prior to Sunderland University Graduation Ceremonies. It's a gig I've had for twelve years now. It's the off season at this point (July) so the ground is not looking at its best of course. It's a great gig to have, but the stadium overall could do with a revamp in my opinion, looking a little jaded. We have an executive box as 'bandroom' for the week and I notice that several have undergone refurbishment very recently. Many of the staff are familiar now, especially the older hands who I presume work match days too. Throughout the week several thousand graduates and family member pass through the place and are looked after mainly by hard working fellow student grafters. They are always pleasant make no mistake. The buffet style lunch is decent (new caterers this year I believe) and the Black Cats Bar overlooking the ground still looks pretty cool and serves a good beer for sure. Would I want to come here and watch their team play? No chance. However, for what little time I've spent at the ground for over a decade now, I still enjoy my return visits.
