Available to hire on an exclusive or semi-private basis, the venue is a good spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. March 2024What a great spot for traditional British roast. The Yorkshire pudding was excellent and the beef was tasty and tender. The cocktails were also quite delicious. It’s definitely not a Sunday night at the pub and far more upscale. And such a great location right in the borough market.

March 2024It was my first time visiting, found this place from the Michelin guide. Easy to locate and fantastic first impression from the host till my table. Lovely ambience and professional service throughout. My favourite is they offer great market menu catering first timer like me; An extensive wine and fortified wine selections. Well priced appropriate portion from appetiser till dessert. One of the best restaurant I ever had in London. The detailed service that I love about is the offering coatroom service. I will definitely back here again!

January 2024I dined at Roast restaurant on New Year's Eve and unfortunately had a disappointing experience compared to the high prices charged. The food itself was excellent - I enjoyed the fish and well-seasoned sides. However, the service really fell short. Our server was inattentive and at one point mid pouring our drinks stopped to deal with another customer! While the elegant, upscale ambiance suits the cuisine, the execution from the wait staff failed to match it. The delicious food alone was not enough to justify the bill at the end of the night. The saddest thing was I went to Roast for the first time about 5 years ago and nothing had changed. Great food, bad service and overpriced. I hope the restaurant can improve training to provide an experience more fitting of the prices.
