Excellent hostel with very clean rooms and bathrooms! The service was excellent and the location was fantastic. You can walk to the London bridge and even some of the popular attractions if you have the energy. We didn’t get a chance to participate but the hostels also host events for its guests every day with different themes. Highly recommend!

The pub and surroundings are great but it’s not a good hostel to stay at, it’s very noisy, poorly maintained, still clean but cold and old. Impossible to sleep, so if you are going to party with friends and just need a place to crash for a few hours its fine. That’s about it

I wish I could leave a separate review for the hostel and the pub because talk about a night and day experience! The good: the staff are incredibly sweet, albeit slow, likely due to the amount of patrons they have to attend to as well as training new staff at the same time so fair-play to the experienced staff for handling this. The pub is a really great place to meet new folks if you’re traveling through and they give good advice on areas to check out while staying in London. Drinks are well priced and the food is tasty. As a stand-alone bar, it’s a 9/10 experience. The bad: I’ve been to 34 countries and stayed in hostels/hotels/airbnbs all over the world. this is undoubtedly the worst hostel stay I have ever been to. There is no possible justification to pay 30 quid for that when I could pay 5 less quid and have a completely different hostel experience. The Inn does not have community events for hostel guests so there was no way to meet likeminded travelers while visiting the city. The rooms have no circulation and we are packed in like a can of sardines. Imagine 8 guys on a high protein diet packed in a room roughly the same size as a medium sized flat bathroom. The storage for baggage is also not secure, anyone could easily access valuables in your case while you are away. It was impossible to sleep as the pub downstairs was playing live music. It was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t even stay my nights there. I had to get an entirely new hotel for the duration. As a standalone hostel 1/10. If you’re truly desperate this is doable but if you even have a slightly higher budget, I’d look elsewhere for accommodations. All together it’s a 5/10.

Booked a bed in this hostel a couple of nights ago (had paid for the bed a week earlier). I was already in the area in the morning so went in to ask if I could check in before 11am (as I would not be back before the reception desk closes at 2am). The person at the reception area told me this was fine, she'd add a note to my booking and I would have the key on the app that I already had when I arrived. On my way to the hostel at ~3am, I realised there was no key on my phone and I would have no access to the room. I went to the hostel anyway in the hope someone would be there (because otherwise I would have been stuck on the streets anyway...). Fortunately, there were staff in the reception area so I was able to walk in. I explained I had booked a room but the key had shown up. The staff then asked me to "stand outside" whilst he goes to check something, along with 4 other people who were in the reception/pub area who I presume were staff (but presumably asked to stand outside because they shouldn't have been there due to licensing? I don't know but I find out weird I was not able to just wait in reception, given people were there. Anyway eventually the staff comes back and explains to me why I was wrong to ask for a favour (you can't check in after 2am), which again I explain I spoke to a member of staff in the morning who had kindly (but wrongly clearly) explained she would check me in. Upon being told "well it's your word against hers" I also explained that the staff member told me she would add a "note to my booking", so assuming she had done that he would have been able to verify what I was saying. At this point I'm then told well we do have a bed for you ('lucky we didn't sell the bed to someone else') but if you need to ask for a favour from us you need to speak to a manager. Apparently asking to sleep in a bed that you've paid for is a "favour" and apparently if you stay here you need to be aware of member of staff's seniority before you ask them questions. All in all, quite bizarre. (and yes I was lucky in the sense that I was pretty sure that due to their handling of this situation that I was going to have to sleep outside/stay outside all night).

If you can, don't stay in this hostel. It's extremely noisy and disrespectful to guests who want a night's rest after travelling. There's a pub below the rooms , loud music plays until dawn , the rooms have no soundproofing. It's impossible to sleep . The room was dirty and smelly. The only positive thing is the location.
