Our team is on hand throughout the entire planning process to help suggest as much, or as little as you require. We have great links with suppliers, and even have our own venue dressing service available.
At Thornton Hall, our Executive Chef as devised menus that are both popular and elegant, and are created with locally sourced produce wherever possible. He would be delighted to hear your thoughts and create a unique menu for you and your guests.
The Hall is licensed for civil marriages, ceremonies, same sex marriages, and civil partnerships which can all take place within every one of our suites, the Garden Pagoda and Lakeside Arbour.
Combined with our gorgeous landscaped gardens that are in the heart of the Wirral countryside, we really are a venue for all seasons.

February 2024Such a fabulous place to stay and relax. Top-notch. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the waiting staff was superb. Fantastic Spa and gym facilities. Highly recommended for both business and leisure.

March 2024My friend and I stayed here (our 3rd time), and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff were exceptional, food was delicious and spa (although a little busy) was clean and extremely relaxing. I had a massage by Jennifer and I have to say it was the best massage I've ever had, plus she was so lovely and kind. So thank you, we will be back.

March 2024Had a lovely day spar with my daughter- large pool, 2x saunas, 3x hot tubs, steam rooms and treatments. The food was lovely and all the staff were really friendly and welcoming and there was no rush or pressure to leave. The changing rooms included private cubicles and privacy in showers and lots of free towels provided. Really relaxing and will definitely come again. It felt like a mini-holiday.

January 2024Enjoyable stay, the facilities like the spa complex and restaurants are fantastic we had a very nice meal albeit very expensive meal. The only downside was our bed was 2 smaller beds pushed together with a gap to slip down in the middle and the standard of finish in the room left a bit to be desired (plastic fascia board on window sils not even fitted evenly and mismatch skirting boards etc) at £160 for a night there a certainly things that could be improved on. But overall a good quality hotel with top class food and service
