The Raging Bull Edinburgh has a generous private room at basement level, which holds 60 people. This area is ideal for business and team building workshops, canapé and cocktail receptions as well as private parties.

We have hosted birthday parties, leaving nights, work night outs, charity quiz nights, wedding parties, friends' get togethers, private screenings, cocktail masterclasses, wine tastings and more, so you can rest assured that your event will be well organised by our staff!

See below everything you need to know about our private bar:

Sunday to Thursday free to hire if no bartender is required. If a bartender is required a minimum spend of £300 applies

Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm requires a minimum spend of £500. If your party size is 30 or over, experience tells us this will be met

A £50 card authentication deposit is required for all bookings.

Your card will only be charged if any minimum spend that may apply is not met or if you fail to inform us of a cancellation with 14 days of your original booking in which case your card will be charged a fee of £50.

Ben was an exceptional bartender: the best Rye Old Fashioned ever imbibed on the UK …and a perfectly calibrated delicately dirty vodka martini truly ignited my night. Ben and Brendon’s charismatic and entertaining personality made our group’s night. Will definitely be back!!

We never had food just drinks so that's why I have not given a star rating. We certainly had the cocktails and the were amazing the best I've tried in a long time. I had the bounty on my head and the ice and spice espresso martini amazing. I loved the bar as well very warm and friendly. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, the decor of the bar was really nice and quirky. The staff were all really nice and friendly as well. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now, when ever I'm through from Glasgow I see it an always intrigued by the outside of it. I'm glad now that we went it definitely did not disappoint. I would definitely highly recommend it to anyone and maybe next time try the food 😋😁🍹

Sadly was really disappointed in this place. Specifically made a reservation for my birthday and noted this in my reservation. I don’t expect anything special, but we were seated at probably the worst table where you can see behind the bar and by the toilets. My boyfriend even said it smelled bad near him. Drinks were nothing special and service was very disengaged. We were hardly even acknowledged when we said we had a reservation. A service charge was added, and although the server did point it out, and gave an option to remove it, I couldn’t be rude to tell him to - it should just never be added automatically as it is so you aren’t put in an awkward position. Completely understand for large tables. But for two people having two drinks each? It’s a bit much. Just very disappointing overall.
