Ash was a top man! Fast service and cared about us! Other bar staff were talking in the corner whilst he did his job quietly. Our girls also loved his Aussie charm.

Another wonderful pub on the High Street. Aesthetically a gorgeous pub, much bigger than would be perceived from outside with the design inside creating an atmosphere of both spacious and cosy, somehow. Excellent food, notably the Sunday Roast as well as the Burger. Great drinks and a friendly welcome staff who only enhanced the experience. Absolutely will be going back.

This is a nice modern pub with a good atmosphere. The bar service is usually quick so not much waiting around for drinks. I've also never had a bad pint from here unlike some other pubs. I have not had any good there ever so I cannot comment on that. It's nicely appointed inside with a restaurant-type part towards the back. There is a huge outside area with pod things for groups to sit in. Again, the atmosphere out here is great. The only issue with the outside is that it shuts at 10pm I think! Overall a really great pub. I like.

Went for a family lunch. We liked it. Mum had the chicken roast and cheese board for dessert and the in law & I had the beef roast and the chocolate brownie for dessert. Wanted the lamb but it was sold out. The beef was a bit well done to our liking but it was still nice. If the brownie was warm, it would have taken the dessert to another level. Will be coming back with my brother & sister as it is a nice pub, has a nice vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub. Have been quite a few times for drinks. Venue is very welcoming and comfortable and staff are friendly. But today is the first time I've eaten here. Heard the roast was great so came to check it out. They'd run out of chicken so was left with beef. To be honest £22 for a beef roast without the roasted vegetables is pretty bad. When it first came out the food was cold so they took it back. When it returned it was hot.. but it wasn't a good experience at all. Plus no staff came to check up on my experience. No carrots or parsnips, no stuffing or cauli cheese, greens contain garden peas and the carrot and swede mash is lacking flavour. Roasties were flavoursome but hard on the outside and not fluffy inside- perhaps blanched and partially roasted? I have to say, the beef and the Yorkie pudding were outstanding. Possibly one of the best yorkies I've had. But it doesn't make up for the flavour and texture of the meal at the price. Very overpriced and disappointing.
