Went for afternoon tea. Reserved online, but when we got there they didn't see our reservation, fine enough, they had a table for us though. Unfortunately it was in the far corner, with no view. It was clear we were given this table because it was the last one that hadn't been reset for dinner service. Dissappointing. The table was set for 2. We had 3 people. One was my daughter. They brought a chair but never ANY tableware. We order the classic afternoon tea (the food, tea and presentation was fine). The server left before we could tell what my daughter (you know the 3 year old in a dress who was clearly excited for the tea party...) wanted. We had to flag down a DIFFERENT server to order an orange juice for her. I get it, this place imagines itself as upscale. Upscale means you don't cater to my daughter, that would be fine. It is however just stupid to assume she isn't eating ANYTHING (and doesn't need tableware of any form) and also isn't drinking anything. Overall, I feel like they wish we hadn't come, and did nothing to make an experience great for my daughter. They didn't need to make anything special for her, but you know it would have been nice to bring her a plate.

Upscale hotel in an amazing location beside the river Thames. Staff all professional and helpful. From the chap on the door to the people serving the food and drinks. Didn't stay there but attended an event. The facilities were great and the lunch provided was also very good. I've attended two events here and happy to return.

We had a 3 night stay and are frankly very disappointed with our stay. The hotel has all the glitz and marble that you would expect from such a hotel, and the location is great being right there on the Thames. The view is fantastic, but that isn't why you stay at a hotel in London. The room is tiny, I am guessing it's the double sleeper. There is hardly any room around the bed, no where but the limited space on the floor to place 2 suitcases which need to be accessible for fresh clothes etc. After the first night the room began to feel claustrophobic, there was no room to relax. Factors such as only one bedside table (due to the smallness of the room) were a frustration. I have stayed in far better hotels around Tower Hill, with rooms that had more than ample space. Such a shame as the Tower Hotels website displayed 'spacious' rooms, the reality was shockingly disappointing!

Fabulous location however.... Disappointed with room. Booked as a triple room for 3 adults but has a camp bed for the third adult. Not set up for 3 had to ask for extra cups glasses. Coffee n milk not replenished. Bath not draining properly.. Breakfast second day table cleared away before we'd finished. No still water even after saying they'd bring it. My friend had 2 bracelets stolen from room. We reported it but nothing mentioned on check out to say how it was being dealt with. We have never had anything stolen from our room before and it really spoiled our lovely weekend away.

The room was quite good, but not the best. It didn't have have a mini fridge. However it did have fantastic views, see attached pictures. The price is also good for central London. It is a short trip to the nearest tube station and plenty to see right out the door. Well worth staying here.
