The location was amazing few minutes walk to big ben, Westminster abbey, Buckingham palace, bus stop and some nice restaurants. Very safe to stay as well. The room was pretty small though, for a 4 star hotel. The restroom was pretty nice and the view from room was nice so it was a good compromise for us. No free breakfast but we only came to hotel during night to sleep so wasn't a problem. Requesting for water everyday was such a hassle would have loved some water station or everyday bottles in room post service

We’ve enjoyed our stay here at the Wellington. We love walking the charming neighborhoods to the Victoria Station and St James Station. There aren’t that many food options close by, but we managed to find some good food. We love how quiet this area is and didn’t have to sleep with ear plugs in.

Stayed with my teenage daughter on a trip to London to see Wicked. The room was nice and very clean. Such a treat to have a bath, which is rare in hotels now, particularly in London. The towels were stored too high up in the bathroom that we couldn't find them (we are both short!) I expected it to be noisy as we were right by reception but we both slept really well. Easy to get to Victoria station and it is just a 10 min walk to the theatre in a quiet leafy area. We probably shouldn't have walked back from theatre alone at night as Victoria is not pleasant at night, with a lot of aggression from rough sleepers and it didn't feel safe... As soon as back at the hotel though, you wouldn't guess that was up the road.

From the outside the hotel looks very well kept in a nice little courtyard. Check in was easy but they put a £50 holding charge on my card. The room was quite big and had everything you would need in there. However, I've no idea what it was but there was a terrible strong smell in the room - like something cooking. It made the whole room smell and just wasn't pleasant. I didn't have a great night sleep either as the mattress was too hard and pillows too small for size of the bed. I ate in the bar and the food was very nice. Breakfast was a small buffet but had the essentials. I hadn't visited before and no-one offered me tea or toast but I gathered from those around me that they should be ordered. Location was OK, close to a sainsburys and 10 min walk to Victoria.

1. Facilities - After a long flight, we arrived to find the toilet flush not working! What a mess! - The shower space was extremely small, making it impossible to move freely. - The heating system did not function properly. - The internet connection was very poor. - The elevator was notably slow and occasionally non-functional. - The windows were so outdated that one could literally feel the cold air seeping in while sleeping. - No coffee maker ( against what was advertised) 2. Staff I arrived two hours before the check-in time (1 pm), with an important online business meeting scheduled at 2 pm. I waited in the lobby, and given that all my electronics used a two-pin charger, having come from another part of Europe, I inquired about an adapter for the power outlets. They affirmed its availability and promised to bring one to me. After 30 minutes of waiting and being reassured of its imminent delivery, by 1:45 pm, I noticed someone handing one over to the reception. At 1:55 pm, just five minutes before my meeting, another receptionist at the desk—a white girl, and I apologize for referring by skin color; my intention is not to tarnish the reputation of the other kind staff—inform me that no adapter was available, despite my having seen one. She suggested I go to the next street to purchase one. Her demeanor was extremely rude, and she could have informed me sooner rather than letting me wait for nearly an hour, only to tell me five minutes before my meeting. It's unfortunate for the Blue Orchids Group to employ such a person.
