Wapping Station, The Concourse
Wapping High Street Wapping, London, E1W 3PA -

Based on the northern bank of the river, Wapping Station is part of Zone 2 on the East London line. With a great view of the Thames it allows you to expand your venue in a historical part of the city. With the area being regenerated, this site is perfect if you want to give your event upcoming and vibrant feel.
Wapping Station, on the North bank of the Thames, presents an outstanding location for your marketing exhibit. The strong maritime character which purveys through the public houses of the Docks and Wapping adds an added dimension that is absent elsewhere in the city.

Polite friendly staff. Dorta is happy to assist with anything. The plants outside are also pleasant to look at and well looked after.

Steeped in history. Absolutely amazing to be able to travel by train through the first tunnel under the Thames that still stands today. Original features of the previously pedestrian tunnel are still kept. People moaning that it’s narrow etc. It was built in the mid-19th century idiots!

This station has a lot of charm You have to sit in the front 4 carriages as the platforms are short and also very narrow There are lifts but think this station would be difficult for disabled access The stairs are great for exercise and I recommend using them as will keep you fit

Platforms are very narrow and dangerous, NO seating area whatsoever, short platforms, the last carriage of the train cannot open it's doors (one could potentially miss their station or train, especially at busy periods - if they don't know), water leaking on the platform (creates life - for mice and other creatures), not impressed at all since its a new/refurbished station. Couple of nice things to say about the lift, which is clean, modern, and semi fast, and the railings which hold the walls quite well at the back of the platforms.

Lovely little station but the guys who work there are always unhelpful. Asked for two two together tickets (twice to be sure), and got charged full fair. Not the first time - distinterested unapologetic lot.
