Beautiful stay here over Christmas. I’ve never experienced more helpful and friendly staff than here. Everyone was brilliant. Always there, very attentive and friendly. The food was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our whole stay. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff and food. Thank you.

I took the opportunity of taking my 10-year-old daughter there whilst my wife and son visited relatives abroad. I was struck by the unlimited use of the facilities as a resident making it extremely good value and for some reason the eat all you can breakfast are some of the best I've ever had. It's quite an old building but I thoroughly recommend it it has a lovely atmosphere and is extremely good value

Rooms are nice are a little outdated but they do the job for a nights sleep. Service was good the staff are nice and friendly. The food was okay I had the curry which could have done with a little more flavour but other than that an all round good stay.

I enjoyed using the sauna and pool but while I understand why a booking system was needed, wish we could've gone twice. We stayed for 1 night but 2 days and we were not able to swim on the second, that would've been nice. While we had a lovely stay overall, we were very disappointed that we could not use the steam room because it strongly smelled like mould, which was not only unpleasant but made us worry for our health. Please could you ensure that the steam system is thoroughly cleaned of mould/sterilised because we would love to come back and use it.

A poor hotel from start to finish. Walls were paper thin and rooms were dated. Wifi also didn't work. Despite it looking close to the M5 it was quite a way off the beaten track. Looks tired from the outside and overall I'd recommend staying elsewhere. Was not a hotel I would consider returning to
