We've been sending guests to the Bonham for years and they are always delighted with their stay. I had the chance to stay here again and update myself with the hotel. There has been a lot of money invested in The Bonham and it really is first class. The service is impeccable, and the room was very comfortable with outstanding vies to the North of the city and to the Firth of Forth. Lots of great details worth mentioning, like USB sockets, making phone and other devices easy to charge. Comfortable beds, outstanding breakfast. You should also know, there are few hotels in the city that offer a short walk to the West End, however have such a quiet location. No traffic noise, or rowdy stag and hen parties waking you up here. Its a beautiful quiet Georgian townhouse, in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood. First class, the best just got better!

We were married at The Bonham recently and we can’t possibly put into words how perfect the weekend was. The hotel itself is such a romantic setting, the decor itself does not need much extra to set the tone. All staff were so helpful and thoughtful - and flexible in the run-up to the weekend. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and professional - and very kind! All our guests expressed glowing feedback. Beautiful hotel, spacious, stunning rooms, and just such a lovely place in general. Food was 5 stars, for certain. Thank you very much indeed. 🥰

The Bonham Hotel is a quiet property located near the city center and main attractions, but in a calm neighborhood. All places have a classic decoration which provides a cosy feeling. The room we have stayed in was a Townhouse Double and it was a little bit small (but with a huge window with a view). The rooms are well equipped with several amenities but no air conditioning (we did not need it but in summer may be different). We have had some minor issues that were promptly handled by the reception staff. Regarding the breakfast we would have liked more options regarding the continental breakfast (more bread, ham, pastries options) - the cooked breakfasts are alright. The staff is polite and welcoming, but the Bonham has some more potential! I don't know if I would stay again, it is pretty and comfortable but I guess the 5 stars are a little too much. I would put it as a very good 4 star hotel.

We have stayed at the Bonham several times and always had excellent service, however this visit did not live up to a 5 star experience. Breakfast service was slow and we had to remind staff we were still waiting for items from the kitchen. Staff seemed disorganised and under pressure. The bar service at night was worse with a large party in the bar and no apparent table service. When I went to the bar there was only one barman to cope with this. He was apologetic and struggling to cope through no fault of his own. I mentioned this on checking out and was told that there were difficulties getting staff. I was also offered the drinks to be removed from the bill, which I declined. We are happy to pay for the service but only when we receive it. If it can't be provided then the prices charged should reflect this. Unfortunately we would think twice about returning.

I am so disappointed with my stay at the Bonham, and we were so looking forward to it. We paid £350 for a superior double and got put in a bog standard room... Definitely not worth that kind of money. The manager assured us this was a superior but their superiors range from massive and grand (as per the pics when we booked) to not very big or impressive (we suspect we were actually put in a townhouse double instead as this room looked exactly like those they had on their site for the cheaper rate). They did move us but again, nothing like the images of the room we had booked. Felt completely fobbed off and not at all like a valued customer. So many excuses. Left feeling quite angry actually and I never write bad reviews, yet here we are. The hotel is nice enough, breakfast is a bit rubbish, definitely not worth £22. Would not recommend. You can find much better places for far better prices and far better standard of customer care. Also the award winning beds are rock hard and not at all comfy
