February 2024Had a lovely spa day with my friend to celebrate my birthday and the staff in the spa were very friendly and professional. The hotel is in a great location also. Paolo from the restaurant was extra nice and provided exceptional customer service and couldn't do enough for my friend and I. Thank you Paolo. The food was amazing also. I will come back here again.

January 2024Visiting the UK on a business trip and getting there earlier to give some relaxing time for ourselves. So, I got rental and drove to Birmingham, then to Cambridge, and then down to Dover. We stayed here and it was a very nice experience. The hotel was very clean and updated and on the Marina, which is a plus. They have very nice views and they also have complimentary parking. Gary was a great guy and helped us check in fast as it was late

January 2024I didn't stay here or eat. I enjoyed the service in the bar area and staff were really nice. I looked at the food menu and looked decent and also the deals they have on rooms including 3 courses and the breakfast. They have this time of year since great deals and would definitely recommend this place for meeting people and being well looked after! Also a great place for functions too! Will more than likely be a 5 Star when if stay and eat!

March 2024Excellent location for the ferry port. The room was big enough and had an excellent TV with a good selection of channels. The bathroom was good but the shower was a little cramped for me as I'm 187cm. The reason for 4* for the room is the terrible drafts from the windows. It's an old building and has single glazed sash windows which have massive air gaps. When the wind is blowing it's like the window is wide open. Service was very good.

February 2024I have stayed at this hotel a few times when working in Kent. I like the location and if you get a room with a sea view, the outlook from bedrooms is nice. The last time I stayed here, a few really irritating things happened, which tainted the experience. Firstly, on arrival I asked at reception what time the restaurant is open until. This was important as I had a meeting away from the hotel and wanted to make sure I got back in time for an evening meal. I was told last food orders had to be made by 9.30. I got back to the hotel at 9 and was told the restaurant were trying to close early and they wouldn’t serve me. I ate at the bar but the menu is nowhere near as good. Secondly, on checkout, they charged my card for over £140 in error. I didn’t receive a refund for this for a month. Lastly, I left an apple phone charger in the room (my fault I know). They have found it but refuse to post it back to me (even at my cost). They have said I can collect it which is not helpful as I live in Manchester! It’s a shame because the hotel has some good things going for it.
