Great English pub. Very popular, the main floor was packed all evening. I had dinner in the basement which was fine and had space. I ordered the three pie sampler and enjoyed the variety of getting three small pies, all of which were tasty. Also they have a good selection of English draft beer. This was the perfect spot to have a pint of bitter shortly after arriving in London from the USA. Updated: I ate here a second time a few days later and the service wasn't very friendly so I adjusted from 5 to 4 stars. Still a good pub and worth the visit.

Upstairs dining room most impressive interior. (How I imagine a gentlemen's club dining room) The food was nice but not outstanding. I had their famous award-winning pie but the pastry (to my taste) was tough...Almost like a cooked hot water pastry??... Which was disappointing as the interior and accompanying gravy were scrumptious! The fish and its batter looked delicious, but thrice cooked chips... They were not the best I've ever stolen! Service was swift which was a bonus as we were famished! Very busy on a Sunday evening...

Came here for lunch yesterday was pretty good. They have a lovely dining area upstairs we got right in and didn’t have to wait. Food is pubby but on the better side though slightly pricey. Recommend the pies over the Sunday roasts hands down

This a good pub. Sadly last time I was in we had a few problems. What makes this not a rant is that the management are quick to respond. To understand what went wrong and what they can do to put things right. Total credit to Fuller's. Do go. It's a classic on Whitehall with great beer and a good menu

Dropped here for lunch with the kids right after a delightful time at the war room museum. Staff were friendly and we immediately got escorted to the ‘down stairs’ section. This was spacious and cozy. We ordered the award winning meat pie, a nice juicy burger and a tasty fish and chips. The food did not disappoint. I am giving a 4 Star as the selection of spirits was not extensive. Everything else was fantastic and I would definitely come back.
