Went for afternoon tea today 7/7/21 It was glorious. Fantastic waiting staff that were all very helpful and attentive. Sandwiches delicious, scones just perfect and cakes/ sweets delightful. An unforgettable experience that I would recommend.

Lovely relaxing stay with superb dinners and very welcoming staff. Excellent massage from 'Sam' that completely unwound the months of Zoom sedentary.

This should be a five-star review but it's not, for two reasons. First the service at breakfast was slow at the weekend, and we had cold tea served. The food was otherwise very good. Second, the room cleaner took my teddy bear away with the bedding, and the bear has still not been returned to me two weeks later. The place itself is lovely, though, the food is excellent, and the spa service is also excellent.

The public areas have seen their glory a while back. Maintenance is lacking. Compared with the Priory’s very high accommodation rates- there are much better hotels around.
