The Ivy Café Wimbledon, The Danby Room

Following the success of The Ivy’s brasserie offshoots that have sprung up around central London since 2014, this Wimbledon Village site became the first Ivy ‘café’ in 2016. The restaurant mixes glamorous art-deco design with unusual modern references: natural daylight floods the room and the walls are covered with artwork of local places. Burnt-orange leather and brass-studded dark-wood chairs add a splash of colour to the restaurant’s private dining room. This space can host dinners, corporate breakfasts and boardroom meetings. Event menus are seasonal and include British classics such as shepherd’s pie and prawn cocktail.
