March 2024After a complimentary weekend stay at this hotel, this weekend, due to issues my family suffered, when we stayed there just after last Christmas. I can honestly say we had a wonderful time. We had the best of treatment especially from the duty manager (who was leaving this particular weekend, sadly) and all the staff. We will be back again, for sure..

January 2024Did the 2 day spa package and every part was excellent. The hotel was super close to the station which was convenient as I came from London. Check in was seamless and we were happy with our room. The spa facilities were incredible and although it was a bit busier on the Friday compared to the Thursday we still didn’t feel like it was crowded. The massages were very relaxing. Dinner at the Alfred was exquisite and we have no complaints. Lovely breakfast spread too with everything I could have wanted. Have recommended to other couples already and expect to return if the deal remains as good.

January 2024I recently had the opportunity to go to the refurbished spa for a beauty treatment, it was amazing! The facial was lovely and so relaxing I briefly fell asleep. The products left my skin feeling beautifully refreshed and soft. The therapist, Abbie, was thoughtful and made sure my experience was pleasurable. I didn't feel rushed and was even shown around the spa so that I could see what else was on offer. Although I didn't go into the main Hotel the rooms and service in the spa are definitely worthy of 5 stars. The location is an easy drive into Winchester and parking is free! Great first visit.... I'll be back!

February 2024We have just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We can't recommend it enough ! The staff were very helpful & friendly especially Elsa. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was well equipped and clean. Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect, 10 mins walk from the city centre. The pool / spa area was very relaxing Would definitely stay again.

March 2024Good location, about 10-15 minutes walk into the centre of Winchester. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a decent size but did have some signs of wear and tear around. The bed was a good size but wasn’t very firm and felt like a water bed whenever I moved. The bathroom was fantastic and top spec though with great toiletries supplied. The spa was ok, sauna was good but changing rooms very small.
