Such a lovely evening in the castle after a working day, gorgeous bar tender who looked after his customers and gave us the best service we could ask for! Great drinks and nice food 👌

What an absolute hidden gem this place is. We stayed for two nights and had a lovely warm welcome by Victoria on check in heart warming smile. After checking into the room we had a drink in the bar and some food we was served by Chris he was friendly and had such funny banter and made cocktails that tasted amazing. Second day we was there we had breakfast was served by Victoria. We had a full english which was cooked to perfection. In afternoon we had cream tea absolutely amazing! In eveing Victoria had set us up beautiful table by the window to have our eveing meal. The castle is old and has so much detail and history to it absolutely amazing relaxed atmosphere. Chris and Victoria went above and beyond to make our stay very welcome will defo be back in the future 😊

Afternoon tea was disappointing with only white bread, hard scones and meager amount of food and the waiter disappeared so every time we wanted something, we had to walk to reception. There are several better places for afternoon tea in the vicinty.
