We had a really lovely stay. Staff were great, food was good. The hotel is beautiful and we have left feeling very relaxed. The only downside was the bed, not the comfiest and was two single beds pushed together.

We had an incredible time at Ashdown Park for my birthday. The staff are lovely and friendly, the grounds are stunning and the room was brilliant. We enjoyed a perfect massage and spa before having a drink in the sun. The dinner was exceptional and the atmosphere and service was top notch. Can't wait to go back.

Had Christmas dinner. Excellent service from the staff. Stayed one night, found the room small, however nice Big comfortable bed, nice bathroom. This place is very old, so there are no lifts, we were on the top floor. Breakfast very enjoyable.

I recently dined at the Forest Brasserie. We did not realise this is not in the main hotel building - it's in the spa and swimming pool building a couple of hundred yards away. On arrival there's a faint whiff of chlorine from the pool but that was not perceptible once we were seated in the brasserie. Dress code is a towelling robe. We did not know this in advance but clearly most of those dining were doing some kind of wellness activity and were dressed in the hotel's cream coloured robes. The food was pleasant; our waiter clearly lacked experience and did not match the very high standards I have experienced in the hotel lounge and Anderida restaurant. Overall it was a pleasant experience but not quite what we expected when booking.
