Situated just off the M62 halfway between Leeds and Manchester and with fast access to Huddersfield and Halifax, our hotel is an ideal base for business or leisure traveller.
In a spectacular location at Ainley Top just off the M62, our hotel is the perfect halfway point between the two business power houses of Leeds and Manchester.
The hotel boasts 15 conference rooms, which vary in size and can accommodate up to 400 delegates. Working lunches can be served in or near the conference rooms or you can enjoy a tasty alternative in the new Grill.
The hotel has recently benefited from a major refurbishment creating stylish new bedrooms, modern and inspiring event space and vibrant public areas.

January 2024All the staff were very welcoming, the hotel was very clean with decent sized rooms. The bar / restaurant was very relaxing with a "Dug Out Room" with plenty of complementary free games to keep all entertained, Joanna Mia was our host for our stay and was very helpful. Our company will be using this place more frequently in the future. Tony.

March 2024Came on the Vintage Variety weekend with Owens coaches. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very efficient. From Sean the Manager to the waiting staff everyone made us feel welcome and wanted us to get the best from our break. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. 10/10

January 2024Hotel was very good, all the amenities are good and the bar and restaurant feel relaxing. They have a bar area in which you can play pool and other games for free. The hotel gym is also free but unfortunately we didn’t use it on this occasion. In the restaurant Joanna, Mia was an a fantastic host and nothing was any trouble.

March 2024Had an extended stay at the hotel whilst working on company business. The hotel bar and lobby is well presented and dined in the restaurant on several occasions where the food was excellent. The dugout is also a great venue to watch sports with a few drinks. The rooms were okay and rooms were serviced when requested via the hanger left on door which was great as felt less intrusive and the room did not required to be serviced daily. The gym on the premises was also good, and although small, had everything i needed. The staff members are pleasant and happy to help with any queries. Got to meet several members of staff whilst there and would like to thank: Kian B, Kian H, Charley, Abi, Kerrigan, Madeline, Mel, Erik, Joanna, Emily S, Rak, Georgia, Jess for helping make such a long stay more pleasant and comfortable. When visiting Huddersfield again i will be sure to stay at the Cedar Court.

February 2024First stay at the Cedar Court. Check in was quick and simple, but wasn't told that there was a charge for parking - not sure why there is when you're a guest at the hotel, I feel that should be included. Room was nice and modern with a huge comfy bed, I really liked the pop of orange, but the bathroom really needs updating. There were a few things that could have been better - the kettle was horribly dirty inside so I had to go to reception to ask for it to be replaced (was sorted quickly and was really helpful), there was dust on the top of the mirrors and window sill so housekeeping need to pay more attention to detail, and the corridors on the 4th floor smell really strongly of stale smoke. The carpets really need replacing! Also there seems to be next to no soundproofing in the rooms - we could hear next door talking through the wall. Luckily, they were quiet later on and through the night, otherwise it would have disturbed our sleep. If we'd have got a noisy family or something it would have been awful. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that, but the location was great. I'd probably stay again because the rooms are great for the location and price, but I'd be worried who we ended up next to.
