A beautiful and peaceful spot in the centre of London. The house shelters the courtyard from the outside hubbub and makes it a lovely place for a break at one of the coffee shops or cafes. The fountains are very popular with children in the summer. Free tours of the buildings are available. A beautiful location for concerts, films and ice skating in winter. Various unusual exhibitions to visit in the house's galleries.

Phoned up prior to leaving to check fountains were open for children. Looking forward to our visit. Only to find out they had not been working for 3 days and no idea when despite staff keep promising the public it would reopen shortly. Honestly is a great starting point, sadly missed with their staff. Grateful to security who were honest and sent us off to Granary Square Fountains, Kings Cross.

Another gem in London to visit. I have been many times to see exhibitions. Also been to the summer open air gigs and movies they hold each summer in the courtyard. The overall building is great just as a place to go and see. They have several cafes to use and enjoy. Its worth checking on there web site to see what attractions are showing and choose when you want to visit.

The architecture is beautiful. The history is very interesting. For that alone it is worth visiting. The three star rating is that the customer service is simply appalling and not in keeping with the surrounds which one would expect to be excellent. If you can forgo the latter you will indeed have a splendid time.

I saw LP there as part of the summer series. Really nice open place with a stage surrounded by the buildings. Really good atmosphere. Plenty of places to have some food and drinks. Also really good bathroom facilities and very well organized.
