Puttshack Bank, Rose Meeting Room

Great experience. Makes drinking fun. Well organized. Mini-golf has interesting games, and needs no skill to enjoy it. A bit pricey, but worth it. You can leave your jacket at entrance, so you can enjoy the game, not thinking about carrying your stuff around the holes.

Excellent and well designed venue. Staff are very friendly, food was very nice, the scoring system is fantastic with no glitches. Overall a very good time. Could get expensive if you don’t have a discount and want to play each game. Docked a star because each course isn’t unique - some of the holes are duplicated (mirrored versions) which takes the shine off. Also be wary of pointless service charges. We were stood at the bar and approached by someone with a tablet rather than the barman speaking to us. Drinks made and brought out on a tray - again still stood at the bar. They added a service charge for this which isn’t added if you manage to order directly. Felt this was quite cheeky and unnecessary given we were already stood at the bar! Stealth payment when prices already high.

Puttshack is a good place to with a group of friends or family. You can pick from 3 or so putting courses each is 9 holes. If the place is busy then expect a wait time of 1 hours before starting. But to jump the queue pre-book in advance. There is a nice bar there serving a good selection of drinks and cocktails as well as soft drinks. The place wasn't too busy when we went and we completed the nine holes in less than an hour. You can take your drinks around with you so if you do have a weight at each hole not a problem you'll never go thirsty. The only negative was the toilets were not as clean as they could be and I understand the ladies toilets were a little dirty on this visit. Worth a visit!
