Possibly one of the nicest fish restaurants we have been too . If not the best certainly a meal to remember!! Started with a bang and was consistently good through out all courses , can see all the staff have so much passion . Restaurant was quiet but it was a Monday nice and still a great atmosphere in there . If we lived in bath we would be in all the time . Thanks so much

Pretty much perfect informal dining for two early on a Friday evening, didn't need to book. Hake with hot and sour broth was an unusual spicy treat, broth served from a cafétière - nice touch. To fill up and get my greens I ordered crab hollandaise fries and a house side salad. But my partner let me finish her generously-sized fish pie, with its lovely smoky taste. Well done Flute!

Wow! What a complete 360 this restaurant has done. Yesterday my friend and I popped in for lunch and what a fab time we had. The service was very impressive and each member of staff that we met were always welcoming and polite. I was recommended different dishes from the menu as I couldn’t decide what to go for. My favourite dish was the seafood ravioli, you MUST try the sticky toffee dessert too! (chefs signature dish apparently). I will certainly be returning for some more gorgeous food and outstanding service. Please ignore any previous negative reviews as the whole restaurant has since updated its operations and learnt from some early teething issues (which is expected from a newly opened restaurant). Don’t even think twice and just book your table! The seafood boil for two sounds amazing! The new chef is outstanding and I couldn’t fault a thing.

I was at Flute a couple of days ago with my girlfriends. The restaurant is in a very good location in the city ; easy to meet. The food was great; we all enjoyed our choices. The waiters are very smiling and helpful. I especially liked the delicious focaccia . served hot in an beautiful way with our meals. I will definitely visit again.
