Special birthday for my wife. We booked two connecting rooms for my wife and I, our daughter and grand daughter. It was superb, Staff were super friendly, the food was excellent and the location, close to Kew gardens was spot on. On the way home, a few hundred yards away was Richmond Park which we drove through. Lots of dear, every where, in groups of 20 or thirty. A nice end to a good weekend.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect place. Room at the back of the hotel had a fabulous view of trees, no houses! My only gripe was the restaurant only operated at weekends, and my weekday visit meant that I could only order food from their Club menu. Which didn't have a very good choice, and very restricted. No bread available with the soup. The breakfast was fine, but I didn't expect the English breakfast to be served with streaky bacon, instead of back bacon. Very surprising for a 4 star establishment. I didn't eat that as too much fat! The housekeeping however was fabulous. The room was spotless and everything worked. Wish my room had a coffee machine though, instead of sachets of coffee. I bought my own coffee bags, so not a problem. I'm not sure I will use this hotel again as I thought the facilities were minimal.
