Incredible atmosphere for concerts, I was incredibly lucky to see Denzel Curry perform here in October for free. A great little venue that is the perfect size for a personal feel yet with a lot of energy from the crowd

The performance space is well positioned and the seating on tiers provides an excellent view to all the audience. Two small bars serving well priced drinks and snacks add to the enjoyment. You may have to queue outside for popular events but it's worth it.

NOT TRULY ACCESSIBLE visited 19/07/24 for a comedy variety show. The venue itself is rustic and you can appreciate the charm of it being an ex cinema. It gets very hot in there so take a fan in warmer weather. I’m a wheelchair user so have to use a different entrance and had to wait for someone to come and assist us and they have a stair lift which is not a pleasant experience to use- all I would say is you’ve got to trust the process but it gets you up and down even if it feel undignified. The bar is not accessible as it’s at the top of the theatre up the stairs but I’m sure staff would go for you if you were alone- but I had a companion. The biggest issue is the toilets: the toilet is large enough but the doorway is standard so manoeuvring your chair is tight. I used the toilet before the shower however during the first part of the show it flooded- and it took a ridiculous amount of time for someone to do something- they asked if I needed the water clearing before I used it?! Of course- I have very poor mobility and the water was a slip risk and never mind we didn’t know if it was clean or not. So I couldn’t use the toilet until the second interval. Another key issue is the location of the accessible toilet and the talent dressing rooms- security would prevent me from using the toilet until all the talent had got back in their dressing room because commoners aren’t allowed too close (😒) apparently. As a disabled person I can’t always wait around and considering I had already not been able to use the toilet in the first interval this was frustrating! The manager who supported me into the venue however was very friendly.
