Nice location and house for a group of up to 20 people ? Hot tub,fire pit, pizza oven and outside dining area House impractical in many areas, kitchen lighting poor (in fact dark at both ends) bedroom lighting poor (especially over the sink) I can’t even describe how I had to enter my bedroom shower, lack of sockets (couldn’t find one in the utility room) and kitchen appliances that are not intuitive to operate (our hardened bean to cup coffee drinker took 20 mins to figure out how the coffee machine worked, had to resort to YouTube ) tip of the day, there is an on off switch on the left hand side which is hidden because the machine is butted up to the wall on the left and not visible House very well restored and has a nice feel to it, if it wasn’t for Jackie the house keeper we could have had a very frustrating weekend (hot tub fuse blew - and she was on it ) so many thanks to her and the cleaning team (house was spotless) Watch out for angry neighbours keeping a constant eye out on the road outside to make sure you don’t park on it (public road) Church car park doubles up as additional parking space (church donations please) Would I go back ? Probably, for the right occasion, but how such a beautiful house, beautifully restored, could be so disfunctional in so many areas is beyond me, so whoever your architects were, ask for a refund I assume it was the London based partnership ‘Style Over Function Architects Ltd’ Conclusion : Every large house needs a Jackie 👍😊
