Housed in Brunel’s original station, dating back to 1841, Engine Shed houses a number of ‘Components’ that together make an exciting hub for activity where entrepreneurs, business leaders, academics, students, and corporates can collaborate, inspire, and be inspired, enable and be enabled. It showcases the strengths and innovations of the Bristol and Bath city region in an informative and inspiring way. Engine Shed exists to ensure our economy thrives and our businesses and communities succeed. We believe that this happens most effectively through collaboration and action.
The lounge is available to hire from 6 pm during the week and all day at weekends. It's a great space for networking events and drinks receptions for up to 200 people standing.
The space can also be hired for sit-down dinner events or hackathons for up to 65 people.
With a mix of fixed carriage-style innovation pods, bespoke high tables and low comfortable seating, the lounge is a flexible space offering opportunities for a variety of events.
