Doubletree By Hilton Bristol City Centre, Penn 1

We booked this hotel for our team to stay in during a trip to Bristol. We also used one of the hotels meeting rooms for a team meeting. Great hotel, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay again.

Didn't stay overnight so cannot comment on the rooms. Attended a conference here and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was interesting with some unusual finger food supplied. Maybe too much sweet things early on but the fruit kebabs were nice. Shame the strawberries seemed to run out so quickly. The orange juice was quite frankly watery but fortunately the water tasted fine. Location is handy for the station once you can get across a very busy road.

We stayed at the DoubleTree for 2 nights for a friends wedding. Check In was easy (mostly done via the app) and our room had a lovely view. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable but as always, I had issued with the Hilton pillows. Please offer a firm alternative!! For this reason we have started using Premier Inn more often as it is a better nights sleep. We had breakfast in the hotel, which is a buffet style breakfast. There is a reasonable amount of choice and gluten free bread available on request.
