In need of a refurb in my opinion. Second time I've stayed there in the last two years. Digital key doesn't work in left lift (never has apparently), rooms are a bit dated but generally comfortable and quiet, restaurant not open in evening so you have to walk into town (10 min) or get a delivery. Bar menu is limited.

Stayed 2 nights, Friday & Saturday. Would have been useful if they had told us the restaurant was closed on Friday night due to private function when we booked. Getting a reasonable meal elsewhere was impossible. Bar menu was not so good. Breakfast was good as where the staff. Comfortable room.

A very well maintained hotel. I really enjoyed the breakfast, the staff were very attentive and the food was good. If I have to nit pick, the bath was a bit on the small side but still nice to have one. The bed was supremely comfortable but the pillows were a little on the soft side for my liking. I will definitely consider this hotel again when next in Bristol.

Nice place next to a bus station, not far from anything in the city. A casual gym opens 24/7, humble but satisfying breakfast. I recommend

Lovely hotel, very clean, polite staff, great location, the Kiln breakfast room was amazing. We attended a friend's wedding breakfast and fancy dress party in the hotel. Willy Wonka would be proud!
