Hackney Showroom is a highly versatile, wheelchair accessible venue which can be used for rehearsals, meetings, presentations, conferences, classes, workshops, filming, photo-shoots, fashion shows, children’s parties, dinners, away-days, wedding receptions, drinks parties and more. Our spaces are available to hire individually or as a whole.
We have an alcohol license and offer a bar service or we can be dry hired for you to provide your own.
Our outstanding team offers a full events management service including catering, technical equipment and support, design and box office service. Hackney Showroom is a charity and by choosing to book with us you are supporting our work with artists and the local community.

April 2024I recently worked with Hackney Showroom to organise an event, and they were absolutely brilliant! Not only was the venue perfect, but the whole organisation behind the scenes, with Grace the manager, and Remi who supported us on the day was just superb. I couldn't have hoped for a better team and venue, and would very much like to work with them again in the future!

February 2024I worked with Hackney Showrooms late last year to host an event and they were amazing!! They supported with prep, remained on sight and easily accessible, I worked with a really lovely lady and we got on very well! The venue is a fantastic canvas for all your needs and I will be using them again this year and in the future for more events.

November 2016Versatile space that disappointed and amazed me. I visited this place a couple of times for the Fringe Fest and got off to a bad start as very staff member my partner and I talked to were a little dismissive and not very helpful. Taking into consideration that most of the staff members my partner and I spoke to were volunteers who without the festival would not have been possible gives me some empathy for the difficult job they had but it's still a shame. Thankfully my evening got much, much better later on with short films, live performance and a club night. I left the venue on such a high and returned to the showroom the next day for another event.
