May 2024Had a great night and amazing food, what was not to like. The staff were attentive, friendly and very efficient. We found it easier for us to keep the drinks separate from the food bill and your staff sorted this with no problems at all. I had the original booking at your Cardiff Central place but you very kindly moved us to the Bay with no fuss making it very easy for us all. A great night was had by us all and would definitely recommend. Many Thanks.

June 2024We came as a big group of 26 people, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure we were well looked after. Drinks were replenished often and they went out of their way to make us feel special. The food was absolutely fantastic! Very delicious. Thank you to all the team for your hard work and effort. Will definitely return.

July 2024After previously coming here last week,we were invited back to try again as we had a disastrous night. We thoroughly enjoyed it here paige was so helpful & attentive nothing was too much trouble,we had the Korean fried chicken was a lovely starter it was tasty & flavour some.mains was roast beef dinner which was very good,partner had the beef burger which he said was very good!! We decided on having a desert which was cookie dough sharer it was very nice.we will be back.thanks so much for better evening of service

July 2024I visited with two friends , and was very disappointed with my meal of Caesar salad. Although there was a very generous amount of chicken it was so dry and chewy I actually couldn’t eat it . The staff were lovely , very friendly and very careful with regard to allergies but the serving skills were really poor, my friend’s meal was served to her by passing it across over the table even though there was plenty of room to have walked around the table and serve it from behind her . There was live music downstairs which started shortly after we arrived and even though we were upstairs it was so loud ( and not very good ) that we weren’t able to have a conversation for almost the entire time we were there. I rarely give reviews especially bad reviews but am doing so in the hope it will helpful and constructive as I have visited the other Botanist in Cardiff a few times and have had a much better experience previously .
