This uniquely designed establishment boasts a playful restaurant, a garden bar, and stylish Japanese-style karaoke rooms. Mama's aim is to pamper and ignite your imagination, all conveniently located near Bethnal Green underground station and just a hop away from Shoreditch.

Mama London boasts 194 rooms, each meticulously designed by Dion & Arles. These rooms serve as sanctuaries, blending homey comforts with all the necessities of modern luxury living, including spacious king-size beds and high-speed Wi-Fi to cater to your every need.

Mama will both spoil and inspire you in a handy settling, close to Bethnal Green underground and a hop away from Shoreditch and the city.

Our beautiful Garden Bar is the perfect spot, rain or shine. This space can also be hired out privately with up to 40 guests seated and 60 standing. Parties can be elevated by booking a DJ and we can organize Masterclasses.

    Impressed at decor and cleanliness. Was slightly worried it was going to be more basic or run down given the price. Room of two singles was perfectly comfortable and shower room modern and clean. Excellent value. A little bit of a walk from where we visited but worth it.

    Another great stay at Mama. One of my favourite places to stay when visiting Lonodn. Well located, easily accessible from a number of Transport options and walking distance from Shoreditch centre. The staff here are always amazing, helpful and polite. Dinner here was delicious and the rooms had a great feel to them. The in-locayion games rooms, gym and laundry room are a big plus

    Stayed here twice over my holiday, and both times the staff were super accommodating and friendly. Loved the rooms, nice sitting space to enjoy tea and relax, and super large TV with a comfortable bed. Nice shower. Clean rooms and common areas. Nice that checkout is noon. Great buffet breakfast too! Would definitely stay here again.

    Stayed here with a bunch of friends. Stay was fine but definitely not a four star hotel!! Money and attention put into the chic communal bar area but that’s where it ends. Halls dark and gloomy, our medium twin room was as basic as it gets. Mattress was quite hard so 3/4 of us lay awake for hours changing sides because we couldn’t get comfortable. Duvet cheap and thin. Room smelt like greasy chip oil so we had to spray it with perfume to mask the smell. Barely any plugs, no iron, no ironing board, nothing in the mini bar. No bin so had to use a random ice bucket as a bin. No cupboard to hang clothes in! Once again, four star, really? Our room was quiet which was appreciated.

    During my recent stay at the mama shelter hotel (Shoreditch) , I had the pleasure of encountering an exceptional reception staff that provided top-notch service. However, I must express my disappointment with the food and beverage team, who displayed a lack of interest in customer satisfaction and seemed more focused on themselves. It was evident that there had been changes in the bar staff since my last visit, as the attitudes and faces of the team were shocking, particularly when a family of five arrived at 9pm. The bar and restaurant closing at 11pm, hearing an Italian staff member rudely shout, "We close everything at 11pm," to his colleagues was unprofessional and unfriendly. On a positive note, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel's location was pleasant. Let me begin by praising the exceptional reception staff, who truly went above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. Their efficiency in handling check-in procedures and their willingness to provide valuable information about the hotel's amenities and nearby attractions were commendable. They were always available to address any inquiries or concerns, making me feel valued as a guest. Unfortunately, the same level of dedication and customer focus was not reflected in the food and beverage team. It was evident that they had little interest in serving guests and were more concerned with their own comfort. This became particularly evident when a family of five arrived at 9pm. The faces and attitudes of the team were shocking, as they clearly did not want to serve anyone else. The unprofessional behavior reached its peak when I overheard an Italian staff member loudly exclaim to his colleagues, "We close everything at 11pm." Such rudeness and unfriendliness were highly unprofessional and unacceptable. On a positive note, the rooms at the hotel were clean and tidy, showcasing the hotel's commitment to maintaining a pleasant environment for guests. The housekeeping staff should be commended for their attention to detail and their efforts in ensuring a comfortable stay. Moreover, the hotel's location added to its appeal. Situated in a good area, it offered convenient access to various attractions and amenities. Whether I wanted to explore the city or simply relax, the hotel's favorable location made it an ideal choice. In conclusion, while the reception staff at this hotel were exceptional, it was disappointing to witness the lack of interest and unprofessional behavior displayed by the food and beverage team. The cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms, as well as the hotel's pleasant location, were positive aspects of the stay. However, I strongly urge the management to address the concerns raised regarding the food and beverage team's unprofessional conduct and ensure that changes in the bar staff are handled effectively. Guests deserve to receive exemplary service throughout their stay, and improvements in this area would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience.
