Catford Mews is the first Really Local Group™ site and is a new cultural venue that embraces Catford’s rich and vibrant culture through the provision of a 3 screen cinema, live music venue, a bar, café, 3 carefully selected local food vendors and a flexible community space.

Catford Mews is the first new multi-screen cinema in Lewisham in a generation. For decades, the residents of Catford and the wider borough of Lewisham have been underserved with respect to leisure offerings.

This motivated us to re-purpose the old “Catford Mews” market into a brand new multi-functional space. As the first new multi-screen cinema in Lewisham in a generation, our venue features local food, drink and music.

Three Cinema Screens. Useful for private screenings of films, presentations, town hall meetings and filming

It's local, it's new and it's reasonable. There is a cinema inside. Get your snacks from tesco as the cinema snacks as always are over priced. Make the price of admittance, and the snacks even more reasonable by signing up to the loyalty card scheme. South East London is doing OK and this cinema represents this ideal.

Good choice of shops but it was Sunday when I visited so most places were closed but make a change of my usual surroundings

A 3-screen modern cinema mini-complex, a compact entertainment venue featuring food stalls and a community “multi-functional space.” Contemporary, clean, inviting with both reasonable prices and selection. A massive impetus and encouragement to anticipated regeneration. This is worthwhile seeking out even if you’re not local.

Lovely cinema! Amazing place for the local community to go see a film, or hang out and get a bite to eat/drink. Only thing I’d complain about is the volume level of the movies, incredibly loud even to me as a young person. I think they could lower the sound slightly, that would make this place perfect. It’s the only thing that makes me consider other cinemas when there’s something I really want to watch. :/ Otherwise fantastic!
