LOCKES is a NEW neighbourhood cocktail and pizza bar situated at the top of Battersea Rise by Clapham Common that opened in February 2024.
With a curated list of classic cocktails, seasonal house signatures, bottled beers, over 20 wines, and delicious pizzas, LOCKES provides a diverse menu to satisfy every taste. Guests are unable to play their own music or bring their own DJ to maintain this curated experience.

February 2024Fabulous girls night out!!! The bar is super stylish, the music and atmosphere was at the prefect level to chat and catch up, Cocktails were beautiful and the staff were all delightful. Everyone loved it and I Highly recommend it.

February 2024New establishment just opened up last week. I went to the launch event, very attentive staff and the pizzas and cocktails very perfect! The atmosphere was equally as good! Steve (the owner) was extraordinarily personable, even to the point when I walked by the next day he didn’t just recognise me (and remember my name) we had a good chat about the rugby! 5 star!

February 2024This is a bar with drinks of a caliber above the rest, and it just continues from there.... Staff very attentive and polite, great atmosphere and beautiful decor. And lastly, The Pizza is on different level. Must Try !!!

February 2024First things first, the staff in Locke's were so brilliant especially given we went on opening weekend. Super attentive and friendly. We had 2 cocktails each which were tasty but not mind blowing. I was excited to try the magarique but unfortunately it was lime heavy and you couldn't really taste the rose or herbs. This is not a cheap bar, we got 1 free cocktail each as it was the opening but the full price for 4 cocktails was £64. However the atmosphere is great and it would be a good date night spot if you wanted to splash out. Overall, only gripes would be: - you can't charge £15 for a cocktail if it isn't an exceptional cocktail - get rid of the table next to the kitchen/toilet, no one wants to sit there.

February 2024Went on one of their opening nights. We had a table booked in for free cocktail and pizza on one of their opening nights. We arrive and one of the waiters shows us to our “table” which turns out to be a pillar with two stalls next to it. We day were also here for food so we’re moved to a bigger table. The cocktail I had (The one night only) was so low on alcohol it may as well have been a glass of squash. We were told that pizza would be with us in a few minutes. After around 45 minutes we decided to leave after noticing the “free pizza” was actually just a single slice so we left without waiting as we were both left hungry. The atmosphere inside is okay, seems very unfinished in terms of decor, but being the opening weekend I can forgive it. The lighting is very low and the music is very loud making it hard to have conversations with those sat with you. Nothing on the website about what the atmosphere is like for those who may find such a place overstimulating. Overall a pretty standard bar, nothing new that doesn’t already exist in the area.
