I celebrated my birthday at the pub and it was the best decision ever. The food, the atmosphere and the service were impeccable. Thanks again for making such memorable night possible.

Visited by chance when staying in the area and glad I did. Nice bar with friendly staff and great food. Ordered the salt beef baguette with ementhal and will be returning to have it again. Alan in the kitchen was a great guy and his food fantastic.

The salt beef sandwiches are amazing! Definitely worth having them. The service is one of the best I have got in London. Cool vibe, the music is good. Perfect spot for having lunch or drinks anytime.

We had a disappointing experience this evening when we came in at 18:30 with our baby daughter for a drink after work. We were approached by a member of the bar staff who asked how long we were staying with the baby. He then went on to repeatedly say that the UK has laws against children in pubs to protect the welfare of the child. We are not of English origin, but do reside here, and this was the first we had heard of these kinds of laws. The way he continued to cite UK law to us registered as xenophobic, and the implication that we were endangering our child did not exactly create a warm welcome. I understand if certain establishments have a policy against kids after a certain hour, that’s definitely their right. But the way the situation was handled and the way we were spoken to did not make us keen to return. The other bar tender we interacted with was kind and lovely. We stayed for one drink and then quietly left by 19:10.
