Our riverside venue is a top pick for weddings, celebrations, meetings, events, and conferences. Our rooms feature charming period details such as beautiful wooden floors, sparkling crystal chandeliers, and tall windows that provide stunning views of the Thames.
The exclusive hire of the first floor is the largest of our event spaces, which includes The Nelson room and the adjacent Hawke & Howe bar. The space can accommodate seated events for up to 180 and standing events for 350 guests.
Alternatively, for smaller events, The Hawke & Howe can accommodate up to 60 seated or 100 guests standing, whilst The Hardy Suite on the 2nd floor can accommodate 60 seated or 80 guests for a standing event.
We also have a dedicated private dining and bar within The Pickle Room, accommodating 20 seated on one table and 32 on adjacent tables.
…and for those wanting something completely different, our newest addition to the family; The Cribbs Parlour is hidden away below deck. A speakeasy-style members' bar, the venue features low-slung seating and offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Trafalgar upstairs.
If you’re looking for the most decadent private hire space in Greenwich then look no further. Set in the first floor, our most awe-inspiring space in the building consists of the Nelson and Dreadnought Room.
This gorgeous space has bi-folding doors that can be fully opened to create one large open space or closed to create spaces suitable for smaller events. So whatever style event you’re planning, you’ll be guaranteed to be well catered for. With exceptional views across the River Thames, the Nelson Room offers the perfect backdrop for your event or wedding ceremony.
Complete with ornate Regency-style balconies and walls lined with 19th-century artwork, this wonderful space can accommodate up to 180 for seated dinners or 300 for standing events.

April 2024A London gem! The most unique pub I have been to so far. Soooo much seating indoors & outdoors with a beautiful ambiance. Large quantities of food & their dishes are tasty!

June 2024We had our wedding at Trafalgar Tavern and it was a beautiful setting. We hired the entire first floor where we held our reception. The staff were fabulous. The food was delicious and our budget really stretched far with the drinks. It was beautiful seeing the sunset over the river and my guests loved the venue, they were amazed by the decor and the said the range of spirits behind the bar was astonishing - and even if the staff didn’t have a particular spirit behind them they would radio somebody in a different bar to bring it over ! We have also had many lunches and dinners at Trafalgar Tavern and the food and drinks are always excellent Special thanks to Lorraine, Joe and Yvonne who made our day very special and it ran very smoothly

April 2024Nice pub to relax in. Great beer selection. Decent food. Exceptional service. Great views, atmosphere, and music. We went on a weekday for a few drinks and some snacks. It was not too busy and the atmosphere was great. We were able to sit next to a fire and enjoy views of the water from our table. The service we received was exceptional and we all enjoyed the wide selection of beer. One great thing about this pub is their music selection. No out of place and repetitive pop-music to ruin the pub atmosphere. Just good music. Would recommend.

May 2024The Trafalgar just creeps up on you as you approach Greenwich village from the Peninsula. One moment you are walking up a cute alleyway and BAM there it is! Fabulously positioned and beautifully decorated this place is a joy to behold, sitting right on the river. The inside is just as lovely with a wide and bright eating area. Even the toilets are well furnished!! The menu is varied with options for those with a bit of an appetite or just looking for a snack. Food came out quickly and was very good. It's a little on the pricey side (£22 for a sandwich, chips and AF beer) but this is Greenwich and for the sake of just a stunning pub it's a price worth paying.

May 2024Following our memorable trip to Lisbon, we ventured to Trafalgar Tavern, a recommendation from a friend promising a delightful summer pub experience. With a visit to Ikea on our agenda, a late lunch at this riverside gem seemed like the perfect prelude to our shopping excursion. Opting for the Sunday roast pork belly and a comforting bowl of Boston Clam Chowder soup, we savored each bite, though I couldn't help but compare the roast to that of my neighborhood pub, which I found slightly superior. Nevertheless, the dishes were undeniably tasty and satisfying. What truly sets Trafalgar Tavern apart is its inviting atmosphere and picturesque setting. The outdoor beer garden offers a serene escape with panoramic views of the Thames River—a perfect backdrop for unwinding with friends. In conclusion, while the food may not have surpassed all expectations, Trafalgar Tavern remains a friendly and welcoming spot to relax and enjoy the summer vibes along the riverbank.
