With a prime city centre location, but ‘hidden gem’ feel, Belong is a premium bar/restaurant and event space located in a historic courtyard in Derby. Launched in Oct 2022 after extensive refurbishment, the decor mixes the traditional with the contemporary, to create that 'wow' impact for any occasion.
With a long list of events already, from wedding receptions and birthdays, through to business meetings and engagement parties Belong offers a private space for up to 40 guests or full venue hire for up to 150. In house chefs deliver a tasty menu of small plates, tapas and stone baked pizzas but have the capability to provide whatever food you need.

April 2024So we stumbled upon this gem of a place yesterday and im so glad we did. I suffer with some tummy issues and cant eat pizza. This concerned me as the bottomless brunch choices were pizza. However the staff were amazing, they were extremely quick to offer me something else with no problem!! Food was delicious, cocktails were amazing, no watered down alcohol like you get in some places. When our time was up, the waiter came straight over and offered us another drink ( not that we needed it 🤪🤪) brilliant little place. I will certainly be back.

April 2024We had my birthday at Belong bar and it was fantastic! Greg was brilliant in helping ensure everything was sorted, the venue is perfect for a party. We had about 40people and everyone said they had a great time, and that the food was amazing and that the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend this bar for a party small or large.

March 2024We visited Belong last Saturday as a long overdue friends meet up- we were so impressed! Belong is beautifully decorated which creates a warm, welcoming and fun environment. All the food and drinks we had were amazing, the chorizo starter is something I could eat every day! The service was also 5* I really appreciate being looked after- Greg and his team looked after us so well. It’s a place we will all be talking about for a long time and can’t wait to return. We loved it!
