June 2024This hotel is in a great location and walking distance to the Bullring. The staff were friendly in reception. The rooms were clean and well spacious. Breakfast was very good overall well worth staying here.

June 2024Super helpful staff from cleaner to receptionist. The beds were extremely comfy and we had such a good night's sleep. The breakfast was amazing and the best we've ever had. So many options for breakfast and such a good variety for people who are gluten free, veggie and vegan.

May 2024This is an excellent hotel, clean and spacious rooms, lovely shower, comfy beds and rooms are very quiet. My only slight criticism is that I couldn't get the temperature of the room low enough for me and found it quite hot overnight. But this was minor in comparison to all the positives. Breakfast was excellent too.

April 2024I had to change room as the first room had an unpleasant damp smell. The new room the bed was comfy and the shower was fine but there were no comfort items in the bathroom, the light switch was caving in, BBC was not available on the TV due to poor reception. There was no light over the desk. At the price point for this hotel I was expecting a lot more. The location is great for the bullring, but I noticed a Premier Inn nearby, if visiting again I would stay there instead.

June 2024I chose Clayton because I thought the higher price range would give me a better experience. The room was very hot with no ventilation - the windows were sealed and AC did not work. We had to ask 3 members of staff before they had maintenance come up to investigate. They offered a fan which took a while to get up. This combined with the relatively early check out and late check in means I will not recommend staying here.
