Stayed here over bank holiday weekend and encountered a few circumstantial issues; the staff were superb. Food was incredible. Location to the beach and amenities were perfect. Dog friendly too. Amy in the wellness suite gave a really thorough massage. Julian at reception was extra helpful in the absence of senior management. Recommend you visit/get a package.

We were at the hotel recently for a conference, there were just over 100 of us staying. Our room was a tad on the small side but other than lack of storage there was nothing wrong with it at all. The food over the weekend was excellent and the staff were most helpful. The decor in the bar, reception area and dining room is lovely. Our conference has been held at the hotel 3 years in a row now and we have not been disappointed.

We stayed here during our girls trip away. The hotel rooms were fine, but there are some cosmetic improvements and refurb needed around the hotel and rooms. The gym is lacking and most of the equipment is broken or wobbly (no screen on rower, no treadmill, weight bench is wobbly). The pool changing rooms are not nice at all. The floor is filthy and the room just looks tired and grubby. The pool itself was fine, but the area around the pool has some plastic chairs and a few bean bags thrown on the floor. The hot tub was green on the bottom and gross looking. The reception staff were lovely and really accommodating. Location wise however, this is great. Walking distance from town and beach. There is a car park but it is expensive at an additional £10 per car per night, which adds an additional cost. Overall, we had a fair time here. The location was the best part of staying.

I didn't know what to expect when booking this hotel due to the mixed reviews. When we arrived we were lucky to get the last parking space in the medium sized car park. Check-in was easy and we had to input our car reg so we didn't get a fine for parking. Parking is £10 per day which is added to your room and paid at the end of your stay. Getting to our room was a little odd. You go up the elevator to your floor but then have to go down 1-2 sets of stairs along the hallways to your room. Our room was very hot so we turned the aircon on which only seemed to circulate air, not cool the room. The bathroom was in need of modernisation. The shower screen leaked so bad we had to keep a towel on the floor otherwise we were left with a big puddle. The shower is quite low so if you're taller than 5ft8 like myself, washing your hair was quite a challenge. The bathroom was tidy but not clean when you looked more closely around the fittings. The sink took a long time to drain and the cold water tap was warm. A few extra towels would've been nice as we were only given 2 bath towels and another large towel which we used for the floor. No hand towel or bath mat. The bedroom was so odd. When looking towards the bed, the room looked modern with nice wallpaper, light fittings, bed and bedside tables but when looking at the rest of the room the painted walls had marks all over them, there was only 2 hangers on the wardrobe thing which only had space at the bottom for 1 bag, the desk had a wonky leg and a drawer that was a struggle to open. You're not supposed to drink the water due to maintenance so 2 small water cans were provided along with the usual tea, coffee and biscuits etc. We went to the spa facilities once on our stay. The changing rooms were in need of some serious renovation. The pool and the jacuzzi were a nice size considering there was only the 2 of us down there but I can imagine it being a little awkward when others join. The pool was very cold but the jacuzzi was a nice temperature. Both seemed to have what looked like sand in various areas which didn't fill me with confidence on how clean the water was. The sauna was small but worked fine. The poolside showers were freezing so didn't end up using them. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel but the areas looked nice and modern. The location of the hotel is perfect as everything is within short walking distance. Overall, the hotel has massive potential and could be something great but right now, it's definitely not 4* or worth over £100 per night.

Dated rooms, tiny sauna & hot tub clearly just to call themselves spa hotel that’s all. Booked a deluxe room to be comfortable but we have been given a standard room that they didn’t even prepare an extra bed for my kid. Instead they put a mattress on the floor which he couldn’t sleep all night. I wouldn’t go there again and I wouldn’t recommend to anybody!
