April 2024Lovely day out with friends. The exhibits are centred around an atrium and its all so informative and well thought out and presented. To start there's a wonderful cafe`with good coffee and loads of snacks. There's no wait for baguettes, bagels and pastries as there's a team beavering away replenishing the stock as fast as its sold. I would recommend starting here because you will need some energy walking round. The food was very good. There are stairs and lifts to the whole exhibition! We managed all of it over the four hours we were here, starting at the bottom with World War One. What was really lovely was the young Children , so eager to learn and full of enthusiasm at the wonderful displays. This is an amazing day out. There's lots to see and for all ages. Before you leave, there is a great souvenir shop .

June 2024Always worth a visit. Excellent exhibitions and clear explanations. Some gems of exhibits, often very moving. And free entry (but worth the donation).

June 2024Very interesting and very informative. Considering this is free to visit it is wonderful to see how many displays there are and how much information there is. Everything is very tasteful with lots of guides on hand to ask questions. There were no queues to get in.

June 2024We(I and son) spent all day in the museum, and we'll go back. They have a good menu in the cafe too. Really, happy day to remember.
