This was a very nice hotel. The breakfast there had everything for food and drink. The room had everything I wanted even a nice big bathtub to soak in after a day of walking. There was even a gym and sauna/steam room as well. The only thing I disliked that the elevators could only hold four (not as good when you are with a tour group of around forty). Other than that, the hotel was great.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and well located. Nothing was too much bother, 100% recommend! Me and my husband visited for 1 night and had the steak for lunch which was cooked perfectly. Room had hot chocolates , coffee, teas, and cans of water in the mini fridge which was a really nice touch.

I stayed for three nights while attending a conference and found the proximity to Charing Cross Station, Glasgow, very convenient. The breakfast was great with a huge variety of options to choose from. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, though the bathroom set-up was unusual (toilet in one closet, shower and sink in another). Lots of outlets, good natural light. Would have liked an option to turn on the AC, but having a window that opened was a good alternative.

The hotel is great but construction in the area and inexperienced staff knock the rating down a bit. I must say the staff is friendly and helpful but the kitchen is on my must-avoid list. Oversized dishes and portions that cost far too much for the quality, is what leads me to create this review. The rooms are great and the location is walking distance to all the fun of Glasgow. My lack of 5 stars on the location is only due to the high volume of noise from nearby clubs and construction.

Staff was very friendly and helped us get a taxi to an activity outside of the city center. The room was alright and the bed was fairly comfortable, but it was in need of some modern updates. I hated that the toilet was in a separate room next to the bathroom. Being in there with the door closed was claustrophobic and the toilet flush was so loud. They tout sustainability all over the hotel and it's admirable they are making these strides. For each day you hang a tag on your door to not service your room, they give you a $5 credit to the hotel bar. An easy sustainability initiative would be to add a vegan breakfast. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast because there were no options for me. The hotel location was central to our activities which was nice. Not the fault of the hotel, but construction was going on near door to the hotel and woke us up two of the days we were there. If we had known that before booking, we would not have booked there.
