March 2024Really does depend on what you are looking for in a hotel. If you are looking for crystal chandeliers; four poster beds and rose petals scattered around the floor, you won’t find those here. What you will find, however, are great members of staff who go above and beyond to make your stay here feel special coupled with excellent food and drink choices. If you want a comfy bed; good food and nice people all at a very reasonable price then the Stuart is the hotel for you. Just look past the decor and you won’t go far wrong.

March 2024Stopped in the Stuart hotel in Derby for the last year on one off and I can't say enough about the staff... always there for you at a moments call. Its situated great for the city centre (5 minutes walk) the rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable, very reasonable rate too! Big thanks to the staff!!

February 2024Another lovely stay at this fine hotel .The place is so clean and all the staff are so friendly. The room was excellent with all you would expect . The breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and a good choice to be had. Good value too.

February 2024This has had to have been one of my partner and i best weekend breaks so far. The hotel and our room was immaculately clean. The evening meal we had on our 1st night was absolutely excellent and there was a plentiful choice on both the hot &cold breakfast menu. The staff were very courteous, pleasant and helpful. Special shouts go out to Lauren, Sky and Katy they couldn't do enough for us to make our stay so pleasurable. Even a minor complaint from us, so minor that it is not worth mentioning what it was, was handled professionally, and apologetically and they resolved the matter instantly thank you Lauren & Sky. Both my partner Tracey and i would definitely stay here again and for anyone looking to stay in Derby, this is the number one place we would recommend. Thankyou to all at the Stuart Hotel

February 2024Rooms were adequate but on the small side and lacked a little cleanliness/ attention to detail nothing a full deep clean wouldn’t solve and a little paint/ fresh grout. There was a weird smell in the corridors on the way to our room. Staff are absolutely lovely, breakfast was fantastic plenty of choice and hot option was piping hot and not greasy. The parking is decent, and good value a few potholes but that’s not the hotels fault.
