June 2024I've been a guest here very often over the last few months due to work.on arriving at reception I was made to feel welcome and valued. I've had single, double rooms and also a executive room,All of which were very clean and fresh. The deal breaker for me was the staff, always warm, welcoming ànd helpful.

April 2024The staff at the Hotel gave excellent service. The rooms although comfortable could do with an update as the furniture looked old and the shower was above the bath which is not suitable for seniors. The bed was very comfortable and the food at the hotel was excellent. We would stay there again. Guy

June 2024Definitely not a 4star hotel. Small rooms, worn and sticky furniture, no hairdryer..... Breakfast is served in a tiny room with only 5 tables, which was super croweded in the early morning, and people had to eat their breakfast at the waiting chairs in the reception! .... Besides that, girl in the reception was very welcoming, confortable bed and carpark for only 5£/24h

June 2024If I could give no stars for this so-called hotel, I would . Faulty towers ain't got nothing on this place . I stayed here through work & and unfortunately, this is a joke of a hotel . I've told my employer to remove this place from its list . On entering the reception, there were two receptionists, one of whom was more interested in telling her life story to all and sundry of which bands she loved than actually getting the que of people checked in . The other was either training or was a mute as she just nodded to everything her colleague said . Having finally got to my room, I was shocked the fact it had a single bed that a teenager would struggle to fit in . The bed is lumpy & you dared not roll over in case you end up on the floor . Where do I start with the bathroom ?? Broken bath panels, shower curtain & bath mat covered in mould & stains . The shower is pathetic it's either scalding hot or freezing & dribbled when attempting to mix it . Having braved the shower, I went down for evening meal & this is the strangest set up . The reception is also the bar ,yes weird . I enquired about food & the waitress told me to find a table & brought my drink over, giving me the menu . Literally two mins later, she was asking what I wanted to eat ? Having looked at the menu, I ordered the curry & arrived in minutes .The food was bland & obviously a microwave meals at £15 not exactly value for money . I'd order dessert & had literally taken a mouthful when I was presented with the bill having gone £1.50 over my allowance I was demanded I pay now . I've never felt so humiliated ,thankfully, the place wasn't busy . I've normally been at other establishments and asked to pay any difference once I've finished my meal . I asked to pay cash & told they didn't change for £10 ,so to help, I ordered another drink& got my change in 10 pence pieces ???? . Breakfast okay self-service ,I had an early start, so I took a sandwich .
