The grade II listed Atrium was brought back to it's former glory 2 years ago and is an urban explorers dream.

June 2024This is perfect for a budget stay in the heart of the city. The reception staff are helpful and friendly. However, Matthew Street (Cavern Club) is directly behind the apartment and so the noise in the evening feels someone is playing it inside your room, the room is also a little outdated and needs some small touches of paint or care - but for the price and a one night stay it’s ideal.

June 2024This was a great place to stay in central Liverpool, backing onto the famous Matthew Street and looking directly over the Cavern Club. The apartment was on the top floor with great views over the city from outside the front door, hearing music and a lovely buzz from the busy street below yet not so much to disturb our sleep at night. The room is fully equipped with anything you could possibly require, including an oven and washing machine, so brilliant if planning for a longer stay. The main reception is stunning, with mosaic floor and art deco style stained windows and iron banisters. The extremely welcoming receptionist informed us that the building was originally a fruit market, great bit of history! I would definitely return here. The room however did require a little maintenance, ie peeling wallpaper, stained table hidden with tablecloth, trim coming away from oven splash back, cooking stains on the wall, one bathroom light needed replacing and bathroom sink was blocked. Room was very hot when we first arrived but an electric fan is supplied.
